Varjo Aero and AH-64

When I go into cockpit using the mouse cursor the relevant button can only be activated by having the cursor well below the button. For example to turn on battery the cursor needs to be below and to the right of the knob before the green wording comes up enabling you to rmb. This is true for all buttons. To press the wpn button the cursor has to be well below the display.......looks like some form of misalignment of cursor

run DCS in SteamVR mode via command line option will get around this problem.

Didn't help unfortunately.

Also tried --force_varjo_VR

You want to use --force_steam_VR

Works for me and my Aero.

I still have this problem with the cursor placement with my Aero.

Can you tell me exactly where this needs to be put?

I got it sorted by doing two things

1. Putting --force_steam_VR after the DCS.exe in the target location of the DCS world openbeta shortcut - "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS.exe" --force_steam_VR

2. Ran the cross eyed alignment debug tool and pressed swap top and bottom eye right

Solved the issue after much frustration

Thanks. This fixes the cursor positioning but has moved my view through the headset so that I am looking way too far up. I can't see the bottom of the IHADS or the George commands which are out of the bottom of my view. I didn't swap top and bottom eye right views as that was an error, I think.

The Aero seems to have a few issues with DCS currently. I watched a YT vid about it a few weeks back. Look up VR Flight Sim Guy (or something like that), he covered the Aero pretty extensively including info about DCS issues (IIRC).

I played around with the debug tool on the opening screen so that the panel looked as flat as I could get it rather than curved. This seemed to sort the issue without the problems you mention.

I’ve had zero issue after running in Steam VR mode, of course cross eye correction is also needed.  When used with Reshade’s lumasharpen, the image quality is pretty much 4KTV material plus the immersion factor from VR.

Supmua. Did you not find that the view after running in Steam VR mode, (which I agree cures the cursor misalignment) was far too high?

I could not see the bottom of the IHADSS or the CPDG George commands which were outside my field of view.

IHADSS looks ok to me.  I can see George commands in CPG just have to glance downward, the target list position (from Pilot) could be a little higher though.  I’m using right eye only setting.

Finally got there. I had to swap BOTH left and right eyes Top to Bottom for it to work.

Thanks for the help.
