BaD CrC Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I would like to thank the guys at DCS for such a jaw dropping sim. I've been waiting for something like this since Janes Longbow 2! (some decades ago). Anyway, I was even more pleased that BS worked straight to 3840x1024 resolution without ratio issue on my triple screens setup using Matrox triplehead and with great framerate  Here are some screenshots (reduced of course): https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
Moreno Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 This looks awesome. Looking forward to a three monitor system as well...
Beaker_VBA Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Damn dude! Put up the full res! "A pilot lives in a world of perfection, or not at all." -Richard S. Drury http://www.virtualblueangels.net

Highwayman-Ed Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I've just got 3 x 24" monitors ready, just waiting for the US-AU Dollar rate to improve and the TH2G will be on it's way :D Intel i9-9900KF @5.2GHz MSI Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon 32GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR3200 RAM MSI RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio 40" Panasonic TH-40DX600U @ 4K Pimax Vision 8K Plus / Oculus Rift CV1 / HTC Vive Gametrix JetSeat with SimShaker Windows 10 64 Bit Home Edition [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Allo Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Has anyone tried the 3 camera view with the TH2G. I have and it is pretty cool. I think this view was specifically made for people with the TH2G. But I feel it is better suited to people with TH2G and projectors. Makes me feel a bit constricted. I need bigger monitors. But yeah. If I had 3 projectors I would definitely set it up with 3 camera view. BaD CrC Posted December 15, 2008 Author Posted December 15, 2008 Thanks guys. @Beaker VBA: I'll upload some full res ss tonight. @Highwayman Ed: Keep in mind that TH2G is limited to 3840x1024 max, ie 3 screens 1280x1024, typically 19 inches. I assume your three 24 inches have a higher res which is a pity if you use them in 1280x1024. @Allo: I thought the 3 cameras view was made for rigs with 3 distincts screens? Maybe I misunderstood this feature. The TH2G is giving just a single huge 3840x1024 screen from XP point of view. Can you share some screenshots? https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
qrazi Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 TripleHead2Go digital edition supports 3x 1680 x 1050 when connect to a dual-link DVI port: Matrox TripleHead2Go website. But I think most 24" monitors have a 1920x1200 resolution.... BaD CrC Posted December 15, 2008 Author Posted December 15, 2008 Ah OK, didn't know that (I have the analog version). Thanks for the info. https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden

But I think most 24" monitors have a 1920x1200 resolution.... You're right, they are 1920x1200 native, but they scale down perfectly to 1680x1050 or even down as far as 1280x720. I have these 24" monitors because they scale so well and because of their size. It probably is made for three distinct screens, but with the TH2G you don't lose SLI(from an XP point of view). So SLI might be the only advantage. TAGERT Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 (edited) Anyway, I was even more pleased that BS worked straight to 3840x1024 resolution without ratio issue on my triple screens setup using Matrox triplehead and with great framerate None? And you have the Analog version right? Man.. I got the digital version and have been having some issues with the ratio stuff.. found that the 1camera view at 3.75aspect is.. well too zoomed it.. Lost a lot of top and bot view but gain some side view i.e. peripheral vision Which is nice.. I can now read all the buttons without my reading glasses! ;) I have been playing around with the ratio.. I have 3x1280x1024 I find the shkaval+camera+abris view the best.. My left monitor displays the shkaval My right monitor displays the abris My center monitor displays the normal view.. And it's aspect ratio is perfect.. Basically the same view I had prior to TH2G but now I have dedicated shkaval and abris zoomed views to the left and right Edited January 30, 2009 by TAGERT
BaD CrC Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Hi Tagert. Yes, I have the analog version. So it is possible to have the ABRIS+SKVAL+Cockpit display using the TH2GO? https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
tronso Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Tagert, i you find the default view too zoomed in when using th2go, you might want to have a look at this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=34832 I changed the view as explained there, and it's much better than the default. I prefer wide fov over shkval/abris though... Bad Crc: Yeah, it is possible, just choose shkval+camera+abris in the camera-options
TAGERT Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 (edited) So it is possible to have the ABRIS+SKVAL+Cockpit display using the TH2GO? Yes! It is very cool! Here is a pic Those are my 3 monitors left to right.. The center monitor is fully TrackIR movable.. It works just like my orginal 1280x1024 single monitor I had before TH2G The difference now is my LFT and RGT screen are ZOOMED views of the ABRIS and SKVAL It is so much ezer to ID targets now and fly the NAV map!! BaD CrC Posted February 3, 2009 Author Posted February 3, 2009 Brilliant!! Thanks for the screenshot Tagert! https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
soup55 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 I've got TH2Go with 3-19" Acer LCD monitors. Also have TrackIR. Can't imagine flying without them! Great stuff! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] SOUP55:matrix:
BaD CrC Posted February 4, 2009 Author Posted February 4, 2009 Actually, I can't think flying without cougar + pedals + TrackIR + TH2Go + Voice recognition prog. The list is getting longer and longer. I'm even starting to build a pit.... https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
