Where's the new technical we saw in the AH-64 vidyas?

They did fix the scud launchers I see.

How so?

It happens, the new ground units likely aren't ready quite yet. They definitely wouldn't have held up the Apache release just for them. I'm certain we will see them soon. Often times ground units just kinda get dropped into the sim without much fanfare.

The scuds actually launch, and will hit in the expected accuracy radius now.  They still don't reload the right way.  The missile just appears vertically and immediately launches.

But this is an improvement nonetheless.

Do they?

I just ran 2 short tests:

With no wind wind they have approximately the correct accuracy (~450 m CEP), but they're still incredibly precise - landing within a few metres of each other. So it looks like the problem of them being inaccurate, but very precise is still true.

Introduce a bit of wind though (in my test 5/12/16/23 knots at 33/1600/6600/26000 ft respectively, and they land far away from the intended target - in my test over 4 km away, precision however was unaffected - and they land very close to each other. What's interesting is that they landed upwind of the target, not downwind, as if they're overcorrecting for wind.

Just as a note I'm not sure what probability the 450 m CEP corresponds to, but assuming its 50%, I'd expect 50% of the missiles to hit within a 450 m circle, centered around the target, with the impacts being randomly distributed. Right now they land within a 20 m circle, but accuracy of that circle is way off.

Probably not; that's tomorrow and its almost certainly a hotfix patch, which very rarely introduce new content/units.

Near certainly.

Though regarding these, it's interesting that the colour of the pickup and the ZU-23-2 (which looks to be a new model, and I hope it replaces the current ones) don't match.

It's also interesting to see the B-8M1 rocket pod being used - the UB-32 seems to be more common.
