hi all

i am haveing an issue where i can log into a pultiplayer server. select a slot and it loads most of the cockpit and then kicks me saying i have an inpure client. when i check the sheild that has now turned red it says a cockpit tecture is the problem. so far i have tried:

running repair

reinstalling the effected moduels (seems to effect all of them)

reinstalling dcs from scratch

about to try reinstalling windows unless anyone has a better idea

thanks

Restarting should usually clear the issue, if not, then a repair should definitly do that.

Unless of course you have mods installed which corrupts your client, then it might be worth to remove that one.

Most likely you have a custom livery or cockpit within your saved games folder. The DCS Repair  checks only the DCS program folder and thus it wont detect issues within your /Saved Games/ folder. Do this test:  rename the following folders:

/saved games/dcs or dcs.openbeta/Liveries/  ... change to Liveries.bak

/saved games/dcs or dcs.openbeta/Mods/  ... change to Mods.bak

Retry your multiplayer mission, does it work now?  If yes, then you know that it was one of your custom cockpits, Liveries or Mods.

For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra

For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar

Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
