IHADSS monocle animation missing when toggled back on

Is it possible to change the movement of the Ihadds when it positioned infront of your eye? 

When you move it away it swings away quite realistically but when you put it back it snaps into view.  Would be nice if it swung back into position.

In VR, the IHADSS monocle smoothly animates out of the way when you turn it off, but if you turn it back on it just snaps into place in front of your eye.

Small detail that doesn't matter much, but thought I'd mention it.

It's kinda unimmersive. The animation when it's flipped to the side is great and even visible from 3rd person, but the reverse is not animated. Guess this is still WIP.

That’s cool for VR.   I wonder if that same thing can be done for the 2d users also.
