MartinVoy Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 (edited) 1. If I'd lock my flight lead or wingman on my HSD via DL, the hexagon would appear in HMCS as it should and exactly where it should, but not for long - it gets misaligned often and goes back to where is should be over and over again. Tested in RWS mode. 2. In Dogfight mode many times it happens that target is being locked but the circle that should be on it, is misaligned and away from it or even outside the HUD sometime - like if radar was tracking different target than I designated (even if there is no any other target around). Then it require to re-designate and designate it again, so the circle shows over the target where it should be. Both cases noticed on MP servers. Playing in VR. I have no experience with this being/not being an issue on a flat screen. I'm sorry, I can't do screenshot in VR now. Cheers! RuskyV Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 (edited) Just out of interest are these AI you are locking up or players? Do you run through the HMD alignment when cold starting? Edited May 4, 2022 by RuskyV

RuskyV Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 I’m no expert but it could be more down to net code than anything else, maybe try a single player scenario and see if you can repeat the issue?
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 4, 2022 ED Team Posted May 4, 2022 if possible attach a short track replay example, I will ask our MP team to check also. Please note only one issue per thread, it makes it easier to track issues. thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? July Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 (edited) The PDLT thing is likely a product of the update cycles for L16, it is also something that happens with the Hornet. I recall reading from someone supposedly familiar with the L16 system that most of the datalink data are "frames" that is updated every 11 seconds, which is what I've seen for PDLT. The DGFT radar lock thing has been a problem for a long time now, there are multiple threads and reports open but no clue when ED will get around to fixing it. For what it's worth, I also play in VR. Another note, there is currently a bug report regarding PDLT contacts being locked with the radar, so your issue may also be related to that if you happen to bug your flight lead or wingman. I have exactly the same experience on GS server. Have to try offline, and on some other server. And will also provide a track. PDLT drifts aways also when starting an F-16 cold (on GS server). So hot/cold there is no difference - that's for now. Will report more later on today. 1
