Like the title says to have the ability to turn the rudder trim off in the special menu like the ka-50 and huey. Helps for people that don't have rudder pedals to easier control the rudder.

I've tried that multiple times it always reverts back to the original setting for some reason.

When you say "reverts back" you mean the actual setting in the settings page changes back after you OK out of the settings window? If so then your opitions.lua file in \Saved Games\DCS\Config isn't saving for some reason. After you edit the setting exit DCS and look for this line:

    ["AH64PedalsTrimmingMethod"] = 2,

Method 2 is the method for the setting swift mentioned.

Did you ever get this to work? The ‘pedals without springs and ffb’ still trims you rudder along with your cyclic as far as I can tell.

Someone told me it doesn't actually trim the pedals in that setting but it does tell the auto hold modes where to start from, its like an offset value. I think :0
