solved Ukrainians blocked from playing DCS?

Somehow my server was changed to cdnru.digitalcombatsimulator.com which I cannot open without VPN?

WTF is going on???

I cannot reach any russian IP. Only with VPN.

But everything was working last month.

 

And surely I cannot reach cdnru.digitalcombatsimulator.com, only cdn.digitalcombatsimulator.com

its been less than a month since the changes were made.

for instance:

it appears that they tried to hide the URL by removing RU and all the IPs are in russia. thats your problem.

Yes, it looks like they have changed update address but why they changed it for me? WTF is this?!

cdn.digitalcombatsimulator.com (without 'ru') is still available.

I've been playing DCS since 2012 but today I've faced extremely strange issue. 

I was not able to update DCS because (as log said) update server was changed from cdn.digitalcombatsimulator.com to cdnru.digitalcombatsimulator.com which leads to russian IP addresses banned in Ukraine. 

cdn.digitalcombatsimulator.com is still can be reached but DCS Updater doesn't use it.

Technical support gived me unbelievable response saying 'Roskomnadzor has been diligently blocking all websites from unfriendly countries (according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs)'

But I'M IN UKRAINE, NOT IN RUSSIA!

Why you blocked me! Is it technical  or intended blocking?

In first case you should fix it immediately. In second, you should publish statement.

the team have been having problems with the CDN ( content delivery network ) in the region and are trying to resolve it currently, It is not ED banning. 

I have passed on your feedback to the team and soon as we have resolved the issue we will let you know.

@Mikelug If you're able to reach cdn.digitalcombatsimulator.com, you should be able to redirect external trafic initially destined to cdnru to cdn.
