Can you please add an option to remove all the kneeboard pages that comes with the default plane? An option to be toggle in the special options in DCS menus.

When we fly with our own kneeboards it is a nightmare to be running though all the new pages to reach our made one. maps, radio frequencies, remember voice commands in Vaicom... etc... Weould be awesome, as remove them from the MOD folders would not pass IC and would return in future updates once removed manually.

Thanks!

+1 ... Agree, I realize that the built-in kneeboard pages will be very useful for many users, but I'd like to use my own pages instead 🙂

Hey Japo, a fan of your YT channel here. I don´t know if you know the free app "Kneeboardbuilder". https://dcskneeboardbuilder.com/Y

ou can edit the kneeboard pages for every plane in two minutes, every flight if you wish, removing the default pages and inserting every PDF you want. The full manual or abbreviated checklist, flight plans, charts, maps, your own notes... what you want. It´s an amazing tool, and free.

At the moment, the Kneeboard Builder utility crashes with the Mirage 1. Also, I believe it can not remove the default kneeboards pages, it only lets you add pages to the custom kneeboard that its at /Saved Games/ and also add into MIZ files.

I thought it was kind of weird to finally see a bird with default kneeboard pages.

Fortunately, the ability to put bookmarks on the kneeboard now are a huge lifesaver.

HOWEVER... the kneeboard we have for the F1 is quite awful; the text is beyond too small, and leading way too much; there is a TON of wasted space, which makes it double the pages it needs to be, and again.. hard to read due to the rather small text size.

While I appreciate the addition of the kneeboard.... I also don't like it.

Actually, there are some other DCS aircrafts that have default kneeboards, for example the C-101, the Viggen, the JF-17, the Mi-24, the MiG-19, the MiG-21 and the Mosquito,  Agree .. not many  😞

Yes, but its sad that the bookmarks are not saved, which limits their usefulness.

Agree, but you can increase the size of the Kneeboard overlay to alleviate this problem .. on my case, I prefer to write my own as it helps me to learn the aircraft:

You are right, the Mirage F1 hasn´t been added yet. I suppose they will add this module soon. And yes, it can remove default kneeboard pages with the option "Clear custom kneeboard for plane X"

agreed fully.

I think it’s great that default KBs have been provided, but I’m not a fan of the format and would prefer to use just my own.
