If you use VR you can see a gap at the bottom, tbh it looks pretty small -but- there is a gap at the bottom. Baco Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Well i found it actually the best of the early radars on DCS compared with Mig 19, 21 and F-5. And also NOT magic like early FC3 radars. I enjoy it a lot, it is useful within its limitations and like I said you need to work for the lock its not magic. If anything those 530 track too well LOL. 5

I use it to map the ground, find ships, and detect and lock onto air targets, all of which it does fine. I personally usually narrow the azimuth and range to get that refresh rate up a bit. Iron Sights Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 I think it works fine given the age of the plane and it much better than no radar, regardless. I would say keep practicing and it will come, it’s a fun little jet and well done. I got her up to Mach 2 the other day and the shock cones do work, so that’s some detail. 2
