FrostLaufeyson Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Situation 1. I have a screen with a resolution of 2560*1440 2. My laptop is 1920*1080 resolution 3. If DCS runs at 2560*1440, the frame rate will be very low 4. I want to keep the display resolution of 2560*1440 5. I want DCS to keep 1920*1080 resolution in 2560*1440 resolution, but this will make DCS a window 6. If the full screen option is forced to be checked under 1920*1080, it will cause me to switch SRS, TS and other windows very troublesome. 7. How to make DCS maintain a resolution of 1920*1080 in a display with a resolution of 2560*1440, and be able to maintain a full screen without borders? Supplement: 1. I use Helios to make the notebook as a secondary screen to display the content of AMPCD in F18 2. I know how to set up Helios at 2560*1440+1920*1080 so that my main screen displays DCS and the secondary screen displays AMPCD. The specific idea is shown in the figure below
LucShep Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 (edited) Just for a test - try pressing "LEFT ALT + ENTER" once in the game, see how it goes. This will cycle to "full screen" and to "borderless windowed" (or vice-versa) everytime you click that key combination. You may also wish to setup the Scaling (desktop size and position setting tab, in the case of Nvidia) in your graphics drivers. Changing that to "Full Screen" (default is "Aspect Ratio", I think?), you should be able to set to a lower resolution than native. It'll then stretch it to fullscreen, which is what you're specifically looking for. Failed, in that case, the resolution of the game is 3840*1080, all compressed to my 2560*1440 monitor. I don't have any graphics on my laptop

I don't have any graphics on my laptop I see. I didn't understand initially. If I understand correctly now, you want to use DCS at a non-native resolution (smaller one) than the native resolutiion of your monitor, not at "full-screen" but as "borderless-windowed". If that's a "yes", then I don't think you can occupy the whole screen with the game that way, as it would need to be "fullscreen" to fill the whole screen-panel. In this menu I think you can play with this options keeping the screen size. you can say if the resolution is done by GPU or screen, if you have a nvidia GPU Intel i9 10850k - MSI Tomahawk 490z - 64 GB DDR4 3000 - HP Reverb G2 - MSI optix Mag321curv 4k monitor - MSI RTX 3080ti - Winwing Orion Throttle base plus F18 stick

I'm just to lazy to change the resolution between 1440p and 1080p
