Hobel Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 The extended cooling physics and additional damages are added to Mosquito, P-47D, P-51D, FW 190A-8, and FW 190D-9 we can now do what the manual says with the P51 1 min at full throttle at standstill = generally no longer so sensitive, at least this was also my first tests. 1
Gunfreak Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 I'm not really sure exactly what that means. I know there has been various issues with engine stuff. But what exactly have they done in this patch? i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.

Before the patch, the P51 was very sensitive, it felt like there was little liquid cooling. accordingly, the system boiled very quickly which led to the death of the engine. Only there seems to be a tank that buffers a little more heat. Before the Update: Now: This is what it feels like now in my opinion 1

So no more engine breaking at lower speeds? But what about the P47, A8 and D9? Never noticed any heating problems there. i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.

Nope, or rather it lasts much longer vor 4 Minuten schrieb Gunfreak: But what about the P47, A8 and D9? D9 now also lasts a little longer as far as that is concerned. I think this also means that the system probably deals with damage in more detail, otherwise just fly and watch what happens, maybe others share their experiences here what else has changed in detail. 1
Nealius Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 Have the Spit and K-4 had their cooling models updated? I notice they're the only two missing from the list, but I don't recall patch notes from previous patches.

Not yet, their cooling model needs more time to test/finish. 1 Serious uglies Discord 4YA - Project Overlord WW2 Server My DCS Videos

Will the cooling fix on the spitfire also include the over-cooling problem on low RPM/boost? i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.
Doughguy Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 This in the stable or open beta patch? https://sr-f.de/
