Hi there, found the issue and correction for it, hopefully will save others from having to run repairs.

If you have ever installed the IDF Mods F-16I, you will need to delete every one of their files from your Install folder. Even though the mod is "uninstalled", it leaves some files in the Coremods folder (most in the shapes subfolder) in your install directory that is causing some conflicts to occur.

Check the following Directory folders:

Quote

X:>Program Files>Eagle Dynamics>DCS World OpenBeta>CoreMods>aircraft>F-16C
X:>Program Files>Eagle Dynamics>DCS World OpenBeta>CoreMods>aircraft>F-16C>Shapes
X:>Program Files>Eagle Dynamics>DCS World OpenBeta>CoreMods>aircraft>F-16C>Textures

Hope this helps!

...so the answer is yes, you modified the sim.

Users wonder why developers go insane at them... We know way more about it than you do. If we tell you to not modify it, we mean not one single byte.

The JF-17 is not better than the F-16; it's different. It's how you fly that counts.

"An average aircraft with a skilled pilot, will out-perform the superior aircraft with an average pilot."

To all with the same issue, make sure that you run a deep clean in slow file search like I did it, remember deep clean not just simple clean search every file slow in the repair section, and I’m pretty sure you're going to fix this issue.

Hi guys,

Yesterday, I created a mission via the Mission Editor and once we were done, we noticed that our wingtanks are on a weird spot. Not as it should be.

Here are some images:

Apart from the livery that we use, we also use the ECHO19 core & F-16 sound mod.

Edit: Just FYI, I also tried to use one of the standard USAF F-16 liveries, and I am getting the same result.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Help will be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

All the best,

Shifty
