After last update When the cannon is used by the pilot, we can no longer put the button manually on safety before landing. It stay on arm

I think this has more to do with what George is doing in the front seat. He was recently changed so that he doesn’t safe the aircraft between hellfire engagements, so my guess is he is keeping the aircraft armed for his needs.

Try setting him to guns as well, or even switching off the George AI interface, then try to safe the aircraft.

I tried to switch seats, and put weapons to safe in CPG seat.
I still could not do that in pilot seat afterwords.

I've noticed that if I hold the toe brake in the slightest, I can not activate the handbrake; It just bounced right back in. That I can fix.
However, after engaging targets with George, I can not de- arm "Armament A/S button" It just bounces right back to armed state after a short blink.
If I land, it goes to safe, but if I take off again, it will arm itself.
-And I havent found any fix for that.
Anyone?

I have assigned the "Autopilot engage/disengage button on the warthog hotas throttle to this button.

The way the brake works, if you apply pressure it releases the handle. So to set it the pilot has to press the brake pedals, pull and hold the handle, release pressure off the brakes and then release the handle, weird but it is how it is. I haven’t played in a while but I believe it’s the same in the sim.  Releasing is easy. Just press the brake pedals and it should pop right back in.

arm safe, I believe there’s a deal that George is actually re arming your aircraft so he can fire again if necessary, I believe there’s a report about it somewhere on the bug form.  Maybe even a workaround I’ll look for it here in a min and if I find it I’ll post it here

Thank you.
I did not notice there was a solution. I don't think it will do the trick, though.. Yellow George wheel = cease fire, not?

Must check if there is another way to order him to cease fire.
