Elevator trim acts like aileron trim?!

Sorry if this have been up before but i could not find anything about it...

I wanted to try the Spitfire so i downloaded the free version and it is really nice, but i when i tried to bind the elevator trim something weird happens...

I dunno how to explain this i am no native English speaker... but  when i bind the elevator trim the Spitfire rolls, i have a MSFF2 stick, so i feel and see the stick moving left and right when i trim up and down, there is no moment up and down like it should be, it is like the game have mixed up the axis for Aileron and Elevator in the options, but the spitfire dont have any aileron trim so i am confused....

The trim works fine on my other modules so cant be the stick.

Anyone that knows anything about this and how to fix it? regards

When you trim for pitch and experience a roll, is your ball centered and your airspeed stable or do you experience the roll while the ball is off center and or you are gaining or losing speed?

I recall quite a few bug threads and posts on this very subject from Spitfire + MSFF2 stick users in the past, but since I've never owned one, I don't remember exact solution. I think It was somehow related to axis swap or invert in the options, however. Have you tried tinkering with these?

1. Go into your control settings

2. Select the axis commands filter from the drop down menu.

3. Highlight either the aileron or elevator input axis cell corresponding to your MSFFB2 input

4. Choose the "FF Tune" button which will have now been made active

5. In the pop up window find and check the box which says "Swap axis"

You will need to do this for ALL ED developed aircraft modules else you will find your pitch stick forces acting on your aileron and vice-versa.

It is even more weird because spitfire does not have aileron trim 😛
