Since a lot of Vietnam planes keep coming out I'd like to bring attention to these two aircraft to any MOD Team out there. I believe these would make a wondeful addition to DCS as a whole.

O-2A "Skymaster", USAF circa 1968.

There has been a steady request over the years by a few for a regular single engine Cessna just to have a good FF Cessna. However I have always thought that the  O-2 Skymaster would be a way better fit in DCS because it would actually be useful in combat and even more so in a Vietnam map.

I am looking into creating a DCS mod, and this was my first thought as I used to own and fly one in airshows.

However, I don't really think the interest justifies the amount of time I would have to spend. Especially considering there is already an OV-8 mod to serve the LAR/FO role.

A-37 or some other fairly simplistic Vietnam era jet fighter is more what I am considering.

That being said, if anybody wants help with an O-2 project I would be glad to help. I am very familiar with the airplane and its systems and before I sold mine I took probably 100 pictures of the airplane with the intent of making an RC equivalent.

I got the Flight Manual now and the Weapons Manual.

"Yeah, and though I work in the valley of Death, I will fear no Evil. For where there is one, there is always three. I preparest my aircraft to receive the Iron that will be delivered in the presence of my enemies. Thy ALCM and JDAM they comfort me. Power was given unto the aircrew to make peace upon the world by way of the sword. And when the call went out, Behold the "Sword of Stealth". And his name was Death. And Hell followed him. For the day of wrath has come and no mercy shall be given."

Only if we get a way to fly fac or forward observer for ai.

I'm positive there is a Modder who can add a B-26K in-game as AI and we can clear trails of guns before they drop there big loads on the enemies. Or even take pictures and report.

What's going on with the bad photoshop in the OP?

When ever you see an image like that in defense circles?

You just know a great mind like Mike Sparks is behind it. Only the same genius who came up with flying M113s could cook up such a masterpiece.

I cant find that image anymore but the articel said those drones were used for testing only and never implemented. If it is Photoshop, then I had no idea.

I'd be very skeptical about said article since those were Ryan Firebees. Those things are the size of 172s. The little Dragonfly lacks the ground clearance. I'm not even sure the tip tanks are removeable.

Also, some OA-37 moto stuff:

I thought those looked familiar. I think the Firebee would be a really cool MOD to have for some target practice.
