Gunfreak Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 (edited) This will probably be very low on any priority. As it only really concerns that small minority of VR players that record and posts vidoes. But having a full resolution/screen that fits standard 16:9 screens would make video capture in VR far less troublesome. Other VR games does it, other flight sims, rpgs and shooters. Just a request. I doubt it will happen. But putting it out there. Edited November 21, 2022 by Gunfreak 2 i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.

In 2.8 I have set "use DCS resolution" + "left eye mirror" + "crop to rectangle" and it fills my FullHD screen (with correct aspect) so what else is needed? Because when I take screenshots within VR they are distorted by a high degree and I wonder from what 'mirror' are those taken? The monitor shows zoomed in (or rather cropped) view afair but the screenshots are still taken from full VR renders. I didn't try video capture though.
