Ok.. well i sat down for the last 3 hrs and tried my swing on damage textures..

Turns out, it uses copied shapes of the model and then blends damage textures over it.

So far so good... but UVW´s are also messed up again... which creates ugly seams.

Sorry folks but im not inclined to spent weeks aligning that. An ive alread looked close at the old damage textures...

The details wont shade the same way as the rest of the model.

It becomes pretty evident on metal surfaces.

Oh well ....

Im about pretty much done for now. I cant be botheres with all the pieces bein cut off from UVW isles. way to much to lign up.

Yes ill release it as is. Just waiting for some video stuff to be done 🙂

Showcasing your masterpieces or is it a separate video project?

EDIT: Wait for the updated rubbers for the Dora! Then any ground taxiing scene is going to look stellar compared to the current state of things.

followed your instructions. i couldnt make the damage textures get to work. when d9 takes damage, the missing textures mosaic show up.

also what does FW-190D9_Damage folder in DCS World\Bazar\Liveries\FW-190D9 folder do?

edit: after selecting another livery of yours, it worked. previous skin that didnt work was also one your newest uploaded ones.

FW-190D9_Damage folder incl contents has to be in the livery folder as the 7/jg26 liveries will draw the damage textures from the.

the single roughmet texture that goes into the fw-190 folder in the core folder structure is needed so that damage textures are enabled to use roughmets.

hi, @Doughguy, your work is astounding, the crisp damage textures are such a win for Dora!

One question: are these damage texture IC compatible?

Sadly no, but eg, if you use the 4YA skinpack, theyve used a small workaround to make that happen.
