We did a aerobatic training yesterday and used this loadout: ACM left, Smoke right. 3 crashed on takeoff (rolled to the side of the smoke pod and crashed into other planes), massive problems with trim and the plane responds ... not sure how to describe this ... like they skipped maintenance for 1 Year. With 2 ACM Sidewinders everything worked "fine" (like "DCS fine"). Is asynchronous loadout broken? Is it the smoke pod? Is it the plane? Did anyone else experience such problems?

thornx Posted December 25, 2022 Author Posted December 25, 2022 (edited) Here is the track file: 1st takoff: smoke / ACM. Needs rudder / nose wheel in take off roll (from the beginning). Rolls to the right, hard to trim. Even when trimmed pitching up causes a barrel roll to the right. 2nd takoff: no nosewheel steering, normal takeoff, no roll, normal trim behaviour. test_f5_acmsmoke.trk Edited December 25, 2022 by thornx 1

It seems to me the problem here is not the F-5 FM: in real life, a Smokewinder pod is supposed to weigh 92 kg (source) in the sim, a Smokewinder pod weighs... 200 kg!
