i hate to be annoying about this, but more options i can use my doorgun joystick, much appreciated!

doorgunner VR support with decouple player view from the doorgun

option to map the slew axis to joystick, not just the mouse..

multiplayer multicrew slots a must!

thanks!

please more doorguns! add to chinook!

waiting for Mi24 to have just one last thing which is allow joystick mappings!

That's the position most Ideal. I hope the also have ramp doorgun for c130 as well.

When ever there is another dcs module aside from huey that is fully doorgun capable I plan to make a joystick design anyone can build with 3d printer. I'm waiting for mi24 to have the full feature before i start to create the design, when ever they allow joystick mapping for hind doorgun

Yep it needs multicrew from day one.

Hey hannibal,

You need to calibrate your VR headset to virtual actual.... this should include your gun mounts.

Believe me I am doing the same thing with the total controls Apache MPDs, In VR, I am 90% successful with each MPD keypress at the mo.

That is Skull and eye tracking to real finger precision of at least 2 cm error at the minimum.... you guys ain't even looking in the same place of point fire!

Do we need a point of calibration for VR, A calibration point, a source to look at quickly to align our skulls to the position we occupy in virtual?

yes is the answer.

HP G2 Reverb (Needs upgrading), Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate. set to OpenXR, but Open XR tool kit disabled.

DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), DLSS setting is quality at 1.0. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC... Everything needs upgrading in this system!.

Vaicom user and what a superb freebie it is! Virpil Mongoose T50M3 base & Mongoose CM2 Grip (not set for dead stick), Virpil TCS collective with counterbalance kit (woof woof). Virpil Apache Grip (OMG). MFG pedals with damper upgrade. Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound... goodbye VRS.

on my controller, i have mapped the commands "move camera forward, back, up down, left right" under the view cockpit category to align the view as per user preference.

i have no complaints by its operation. if it was un-usable. then i would not be going thru this whole setup.

In the vids you are looking off centre of the barrel of the 50 cal.

Both gun  and skull need to be aligned to virtual at calibration.

I am starting to think a real bolted together pit is the only way to ensure true alignment in VR if true life objects need to be interacted with.

But what you are doing is fabulous no matter what I say, It is heading toward "perfection".
