I know for a fact that the Cessna has a better turning rate.

If it were up to me, and it is not, I would not put one particular aircraft in the name. The next sim should be capable of more than just combat aircraft.

Just my opinion.

Arrr sounds like X-plane with combat capability ;) let ED capture the whole sim market and do WWII just so Oleg has company and some REAL competition hehe :D

I was just kidding. But that's a nice idea ... something everyone I think ahs wanted. The problem is that it is very difficult to consolidate, in particular where armoed combat and infantry are involved because suddenly the scale of the ground changes for people playing those position - in particular you need a finer mesh ... so I think it'll be quite a while before such a thing happens, but I am hopeful ... it would be an awesome development.

Alright Stormin.

Your cessna vs. my F-15. Let's go! ;)

I wasn't advocating non-combat aircraft. I want combined arms, armor, naval, etc.

All it would need is massively multiplayer capability to top it off, and you can call it wwiiionline ;)

Seriously, though, I would love to see a fully interactive, combined arms simulation of modern warfare. Not like Joint Ops or Operation Flashpoint, but a deep, detailed simulation with the feel of a study sim. Now I just need to win the lottery so I can pay somebody to make it.

You won't be able to ... technology limitation ...

Hmmmm..... non-specific airplane. Trickier

Bad Planes! Bad Planes!: Watcha Gonna Do

Airplane!

Free to Be, You and Me: Airplanes

Flight Into Danger

Non-specific Combined Arms

The Compleat Sim

The Ronco Sim-omatic

More Serious:

I think we seen a lot of generic Men of Valour Honour Duty etc. from the FPS sims

We have to think Tech, Information, Detail, Mastery. metal, Electronic, AIr, combined

You can swap out sections

Sharp Edge: Air Onslaught

Designated Target: Assault from Above

Launch Flash: Target Acquired

Target Acquired: Air Onslaught

Air Dominance: Full Force

Air Conflict: High Voltage (hehe)

PK: Launch Now

I like Launch Flash: Air Onslaught

It gives you the Nodern, technical, Mastery aspects

Simply call it Lock On 2 - with F/A-18E, Mirage 2000-5, Su-33MKI, MiG-29K, Su-22 and Mi-28N .

I would be in flight sim heaven then.

Su-33MKI??

The new thrust vectoring naval Flanker - although only the land based Su-30MKI exists - I am being sadistic with poor ED! They would have to create a whole new flight model just for it.

Flaming Cliffs: Reactivation :D

"There are five dangerous faults which may affect a general: recklessness, which leads to destruction; cowardice, which leads to capture; a hasty temper, which can be provoked by insults; a delicacy of honor which is sensitive to shame; over-solicitude for his men, which exposes him to worry and trouble."
