Uninstalled and reinstalled clean, now crashes when loading missions

You never need to rw-install. A repair will fix any issue in the core.
Most likely you have an issue in your Saved Games folder. Rename the DCS folder in Saved Games and try again.

OR, what's your pagefile settings?

Cheers!

I am not able to correct my issue... I even executed a 'hard reset ' on my OS and I am *still* unable to get a mission to load without DCS crashing. Any aircraft, any mission.

I'm not educated on the finesse of fixing issues on a CPU, so the idea of refusing to pay another red cent for anything DCS related, is appearing more likely.

Any advice?

Good day Gents,

Have not been able to play since I have posted this topic, and now after updating to the latest version, I'm still unable to get a basic Hornet 'free flight' mission to load. Can someone be so kind as to guide me to what the issue is, and if its even fixable?  Thanks so much! Cheers!

ok. it looks like the 970 is not being seen by DCS. check NCP, and DCS program settings. set it to nvidia card. see if that helps. also DCS thinks you have only 8 GB RAM. maybe a bad stick?

nvidia control panel (NCP). search in windows for nvidia. then there will be a tab for "program settings" (depending on your language)
