Issue with an odd texture overlay that seems to be "dragging" along certain surfaces when SSAO is enabled.

This occurs in multiple, if not all modules.

Specifically noticed in: JF-17, F-16, MiG-21, Mirage 2000, F-14 and Viggen

Probably occurs in all modules, but have not flown others enough to have noticed as of late.

Clip of the bug attached as MP4, sampled from the JF-17.

The texture dragging can be spotted on the grey/shadowed metal part just below the canopy seal. It seemes to be a reoccuring theme that it happens in shaowed areas.

The "smudge" will precisely follow the camera movements, both with zoom, mouse movements or TrackIR use. It will also move between textures/surfaces and still be the same pattern.

Also attached is a picture of my settings page. This issue occurs regardless of the Secondary Shadows setting and seems to be solely affected by SSAO.

Hi, I noticed this a few updates ago. It's hard to explain and hard to film, but I recognize it clearly in your video. It's easier to see in bright cockpits (I first saw it in the Viggen).

I was told ambiant occlusion is prebaked in most (if not all) cockpits, which means SSAO is pretty useless in our cockpits. And since it does this ugly thing... I'll report it just in case something can be done about it.

Can you try this after turning off lens effects? (dirt and flare off)

I don't see this since I don't use those. They look horrible in VR.

Edit: False alarm, I have SSAO turned off apparently. And indeed with that on it shows the same artifact you show.

Was this issue ever reported in the forum before @Naudiz took the shot?
