Hey @Reflected I'm having a great time out with the fleet and haven't disgraced myself too much so far. i was wondering, if you haven't already, could you or Paco or anyone really go through the summary kneeboard page and explain what the various columns mean. I think i understand the majority of it such as the fuel ladder, the top chunk etc  and i know some of the info doesn't make a difference to the game but i wonder if I'm missing anything that might help fly the sortie better? I thought similar during the rag section but as the brief was generally larger I was so focused on that it didn't seem quite as important.

These are exact reproductions of Paco’s original kneeboard cards.

Paco explained them to me, to be honest I didn’t understand half of it either, and some, I still don’t 🙂 but I am planning to release a tutorial about the fuel ladder next week.

which other ones are you curious about specifically?

Hey @Reflected, taking a kneeboard from the rag and one from the fleet the main confusion for me is;

RDR chan & search. I assume its something to do with radar channels? Who is search which blocks etc? Then it's the tac admin and avionics boxes which i get bits but a breakdownwould be great.

In the fleet the ones I have questions on are MSL/SCH. Again are these the rio radar search blocks etc? FFDL and the ALE 39 breakdown.  At first I thought it was maybe counter measures but doesn't make sense in my mind. Lastly (and I assume there is a reason) why is the BRC not included but wind speed and direction is given there is a set time for recovery etc. I assume its to give the freedom to the boat and we just dial in the boats direction while in the stack. Flying zip lipped is definitely a new challenge buy I'm really enjoying it!

Thanks.

DRD / SCH is the same as MSL / SCH. So which channel the RIO sets, and their assigned search sector. One scans high, the other low with some overlap.

FFDL - Fighter to Fighter Data Link (not available in DCS, just like A/A TACAN) so I just wrote realistic numbers based on Paco's original kneeboard cards.

Avionics: that's all RIO stuff mainly. Countermeasure settings, Data Link, IFF.

BRC is not included because during the briefing nobody knows the exact wind direction when you'll recover. Weather is momentary, it may change (in DCS it doesn't)

MR/ DME - Mother's Radial, DME = distance , Angels = altitude, that's for the RDV.

Is there anywhere I can find the kneeboard pages from the campaign to save them to the default F14 kneeboard?

You can open the Campaign MIZ file with 7-zip and then look into the KNEEBOARD\IMAGES folder that its inside.

Awesome that's what I was looking for, thanks @Rudel_chw. Also another question too, on the waypoints "Student Gap (FP)" and "India (ST)" does FP and ST stand for something or is that abbreviations for Student Gap and India.
