Change log for A-10C II manual?

The latest version of the OpenBeta manual is at least 100 pages more than the stable release version.

Is there a change log for the manual (not the plane) for the A-10C II?

Win Pro 10, A-10c (rarely used, but started with Falcon AT!), P3D v4 (100+ add-ons mostly ORBX), i7-8700k, 16 GB 3200 Mhz RAM, Gigabyte Z370M DS3H, Corsair water cooler, EVGA SuperNOVA Gold 650W, PNY GTX 1070ti, Dell 27" G-sync monitor, Logitech 3D Pro, NVMe OS drive, TB's of free space on SSD.

Wow. Great find! NEVER would have noticed it. And the best part? It's almost as thick as the Bible. Light weekend reading.

Anyway. Great find.

800+ pages for the A-IIC + 390 pages for the separate DCS manual is almost equal to the number of pages I have in each of my cars. I used to have the assumption that technology was to make stuff easier to use and make users more productive. That's no longer the case.

I'm not complaining about the manual though. I like them and one of my criteria for buying anything. It's better than the other extreme: no documentation at all.

I know it is unrealistic given how frequent updates are created but I miss real manuals.  I still keep a copy of my Falcon 4 manuals. I just can't get myself to get rid of them. 🙂

Did the DCS World manual get bigger also?

And yes, I also had that Falcon 4.0 Manual. I installed it on the computer in my office at the 93rd Fighter Squadron and caused a bit of a stir when a couple of the squadron Viper pilots started it up and flew it. They were very impressed with the realism to the point that after that they would regularly break into my locked office to play the game.

Ordinarily I would care but, being the squadron medic (Mako Medic) we had meds stored there so I had no choice to report it to the C.O. and had deadbolt locks installed. Really annoyed them as they would break in after debriefing and down a few brewskies while playing.

Good times.

I tell you what ! Your`re not alone . Still look at that manual from time to time. And Falcon 4.0 is still installed on my old G4 Sawtooth.

And I thing the ATC is a bit better than the ours. Just one example: "declaring an emergency !" the answer was "You´re number one to land".

Thing I give it a try tonight.

Have fun

Dumb question - is the open beta manual different than the one available on the DCS documentation page?

Haven't compared them, but generally the ones in your DCS installation directory are the most recent ones.

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
