Yep, I think these strange deviations occur around the non-primary parts of some maps.

Yes, this, I'm not sure a jammer could explode a drone, but it definitely can send off into a different direction, say a water source or open field. Maybe even hijack the drone.

First of all, I love your assets 🙂

But I'm wondering if it would be possible to command infantry troops to crouch or to prone? By some sort of flag or option? That would be awesome for CAS missions when the infantry is lying and possibly under fire, while you engage with your Helo or A10.

Is it possible that your infantry still contains the "smoking bug" when damaged? Or is it still a DCS thing?image.png

Colleagues, good day to all! Can you please tell me if Iskander-M works properly for everyone? Mine is not active. It just stands there with the doors closed. It is activated with the old file "9M723_missile.lua". True, the missile flies along a very flat trajectory in the final section...

Check your min and max ranges. I had to increase the minimum range. And you need to point it in the general direction for it to do its best work.

Confirmed working. Everything seems fine although I'm not sure if CH had to adjust the speed? They seem to be traveling slower but I can't be to sure about that as I don't recall their previous value if different. Traveling about 2500 kn in the terminal phase.

Thanks!) The speed of 2533 km/h is certainly not hypersonic. The parameters still need to be adjusted...

I should clarify for everyone. I've been working on replacing all the broken missiles for the last three weeks. I had to use all the tricks in the book to get them to basically work again. Core DCS doesn't have accessible weapon schemes made for these kind of weapons (like the GMLRS, ATACMS, PrSM, GLSDB, 9M723, YJ-21, DF-21D etc). It's not due to my lack of understanding these weapons, it's because I haven't found another way to implement them. The alternative would be to remove them. I have tested numerous different solutions, and this is the least worst one.

I saw that last night on a Tomahawk.   It was climbing in boost and hit the top of its climb, rotated to the flight heading and extended it's wings.

The fins are folded during the "boost" phase and will then unfold.

No worries, I figured that was the reason for it. I know some of them also have incorrect flight characteristics like missile wobble, but the overall flight path works fine. I'll certainly take compromises over not having them at all! 😀

Back to work on the German asset pack update. Currently putting the German MAN truck based Patriot system through tests. It's based on the older Patriot setup with the AN/MPQ-53 and PAC-2 GEM missiles.

hey Ch or anyone, are y'all having issues with packs not working once installed and in game. I just downloaded the Sweden pack and its the updated 1.0.1 and none of the assets are working like i mean not showing able to be placed in the editor and for the ones that are showing they are either invisible or default textures. 98% of the Sweden pack is not usable just wanted to get some clarification also the Iran FAC don't do anything either they move but the ASHM don't shoot only the Sam and the guns will fire.

I'm happy to hear! I'm all good, especially now with all the repair work finally done. It's so much more fun to work on new stuff than repairing old ones. 😅

There has to be something wrong with your installation then. Check for conflicts with other mods, check your installation directory (saved games folder, not DCS core folder). Also, check my FAQ: https://www.currenthill.com/faq

i double checked my install and its not the install path because i also have the UK and Ukrainian packs installed in the same place and they work without issues and those are the only 2 other packs i have currently installed

Strange, has to be a conflict then. I just tested some of them by putting all the Swedish armor units in a mission and they worked fine. 

Send me your dcs.log and I'll take a look. 👍🏻
