@currenthill thank you for your hard work updating the swedish pack as well.

Can you please help us update the configuration for your assets SAMs for Mantis(moose) as well please?

I am attaching here the current configuration. I suppose that it need to change the suffix for sweedish pack as well as I think there is a good number of new assets to be added. Your help with this is really appreciated.

Hi Currenthill,

                                  Something went wrong with my installation of Sweden 1.1.0. It's crashing out just as I get the new 'Open DCS' window

I deleted the previous version. Installed the new version, as Copy & Paste. It crashed.

Downloaded again and repeated the procedure, crashed again. 

I still have the original version, so no problem for me, just and FYI. The old version is good enough for me, FANTASTIC work as usual

Sounds like a conflict. Send me your dcs.log and I'll take a look.

                            That's my time to depart, to keep the good looking one happy,  Thank you for looking, I'll be back tomorrow and If I've sent the wrong info, I'll delete that log file and start again. I'm happy with the old stuff if neede, You'll never be hassled by me, I'm too old and ugly to bother people, you do fantastic work, See you tomorrow

There is no mention of the Military Asset Pack Sweden in your log. Only Russia, UK, Germany, Ukraine and the US. So I would advice you to check your installation of the Swedish pack.

Hey man, I just had a "similar" problem where I could not find CH Sweden units in game, MAKE SURE that u created the RIGHT sub-folders cause CH Sweden pack does not come with OVgme ready folder, u have to create the sub-folders like this : mods / tech / CH Sweden Pack, so the game will run it properly. Maybe it helps!

That’s correct. Since OvGME doesn’t work with larger zips I just unzip them in the DCS tech folder.

Hi Currenthill beautiful package, thanks, I ask you a stupid question, but if I leave the other version of the Gripen JAS39 could there be a conflict? Better to remove it?

Nope, I made them to co-exist, since this version is only an AI version. The reason for this was so that I could implement the weapons for AI, which is much easier than for a player-controlled aircraft.

you can easily integrate currenthill weapons into the VSN_Eurofighter and IDS by adding a few lines of CLDIS into their lua file.  But it is better for ask his permission first

Ok, I re-inserted it again, its in Openbeta/Mods/tech....and the game crashed before I could press, open game. No problem.

Re-named the Tech, Old_Tech, put ALL your MOD folders in and the game fires up, so now I'll just work through my files & folders to find the little sod that is messing things up,

Hi @currenthill I didn't find much online regarding the Swedish patriot variant, but I noticed the RB 103A & 103B have a significant interception range increase over current Pac-2/3 missiles. Since I'm trying to keep my wargames as close to real life as possible, I wanted to know if these numbers are a best representation of available data or if they're artificially buffed? I didn't expect a non-US variant of the same system to have such an increase in range and even beating out THAAD, although it might be the case given the age of the system.

Hoping you can give me a bit of insight there. Thanks!

Sounds like something strange is going on there. The Rb 103A is the PAC-2 GEM-T with a range of 160 km. The Rb 103B is the PAC-3 MSE with a range of 120 km. I just checked the configurations in the Swedish and US asset packs, and they are the same. The THAAD Interceptor is configured for a 200 km range. But you have to take the radars into account (being able to pickup targets earlier and withstand ECM). The Swedish LvS 103 uses the AN/MPQ-65 while the US pack contains the AN/MPQ-65, AN/MPQ-65A and the LTAMDS. The German pack is equipped with the old AN/MPQ-53 and older PAC-2 GEM.

My apologize if I spoke too soon. I haven't actually updated to the new patch, I was just going off the data shown on your site. What I was referring to was the purported range of 122nm for the Rb 103B and 140nm of the Rb103A.

Like the other two systems, I assumed this was the max range at which the Lavett would engage an incoming target, which is higher than the 80nm and 65nm range of the Pac2/Pac3 and 108nm of the THAAD.

Haha, I think you spotted a bad conversion between units. I primarily use the metric system and somehow managed to screw up the conversion on the one-pager. 😅

I never intentionally buff any weapon systems performance. But I only use OSINT and such sources can give very scattered answers on a certain system's performance.  

The one-pager on my website has been updated now. 👍🏻
