solved DCS OpenBeta 2.8.2.35759 Will not launch

Hello!

Until yesterday evening, my DCS OpenBeta 2.8.2.35759 worked perfectly.

Then suddenly when I tried to launch DCS, It would not launch...

Today I updated my Nvidia Driver ande Windows 11, uninstalled all mods and repaired DCS.

Still the same problem!?

I uninstalled DCS Open Beta from my SSD and made a vanilla install of DCS OpenBeta and the problem remains!?

 

What to do?

I would be most  grateful for help!

Hi,

I am having the same problem. DCS would not launch. No error message, see log file. Tried all the things as named by Otulf (driver and windows updates, DCS slow repair, renaming the DCS saved games folder, ...). No success. I am puzzled. 

Any idea how to fix it? Thx in advance.

ideally you both should start new topics.

@DMA1967 your log is quite short. it does mention the file. make a permanent pagefile of 32768. 

@stockfisch you have a different problem. you definitely should start a new topic. you also need a permanent pagefile of 32768.

Thx silverdevil, I will check it out. My problem is the same as described by Otulf. DCS start window comes up and then it just closes without any message after like 10 seconds. CTDT.

A DCS cleanup + repair solved it. Now it works fine again.
