need track replay Serious Loss of FPS When Entering A2A Mode from ICP on Ground in Multiplayer

This issue was experienced in MT in the latest Open Beta build. 

Cold started the F-16 in the Gray Flag PG server. I switched the aircraft to A-A on the ICP while on the ground and the game completely froze. I asked my wingman to do the same (same circumstances), and the game froze for him as well. 

Steps to replicate the problem:

1. Start jet from cold in a multiplayer server with multi-threading

2. Enter A-A from the ICP (on ground FCR/datalink -on)

The problem was able to replicate 70% of the time in MT with 3 different users making multiple attempts. The problem did not exist when tested in Single Thread gameplay.

i am seeing this towards end of log.

2023-04-29 01:14:07.738 ERROR   ASYNCNET (7240): dropped serverinfo(96.19.93.217:10308): unknown request id

perhaps you are not seeing FPS loss but more like lag because of connection issues with server?

Very possible, it is just strange that the gameplay freeze could be triggered amongst multiple players by doing the same command.

My wingman and I had no connectivity issues before entering A-A mode on the ground. I went into A-A doing a preflight check and the game froze, giving 1 frame roughly every minute. Once I was able to click out of A-A (which took forever) the issue was effectively resolved. I asked my wingman to do the same by clicking the A-A on the ICP and the result was the exact same, the game froze. 

I have had tons of CTDs due to lags, but never one that I could tie so directly to a single source, so I made this thread.

interesting. i did a little read on what LEDBAT is.

LEDBAT is also in your log. i wonder if this has to do with your and others' issues. i do not play MP so i do not have this in my logs. i know there are some reports of the MP server browser acting wonky too.

I am unable to reproduce on my machine. 

Could you attach a short as possible track replay showing it happen so I can compare

Please remove all unofficial mods or edits and run a slow repair or verify if steam. 

I would also suggest renaming your dcs folder in saved games ( keep it as a backup )

C:\Users\John Curtas\Saved Games\DCS.openbetabackup

then restarting dcs, login and test with a vanilla DCS
