Hi; has any one has some tips what to set for controlling a Huey or other choppers for a Warthog set, , if you don't have a Collective hardware stick?

I feel like riding this:

Use your throttle as the collective and the stick as usual. Then bind anything to it you want and then it's just a matter of practising helicopters.

Well, after a few tips from y'all, thanks BTW, and a lot of experimenting i can get the thing called Huey up in the air, and also even land it with my Warthog set.

But i am stuck at setting the engine and moving controls right for flying forward (and backwards) at a decent speed. Any ideas?

I set the Warthogs throttle axis to the above collective, and the Warthog slider to the throttle function.

you tube is your friend here, it even gives pictures and setup advice - just search DCS Huey and watch the world of tutorials roll out before your eyes.

Then come back here to ask tips if/for any thing that your doing wrong rather than how, will make your journey faster for sure.

Hope this helps

You can even add to the search "DCS UH-1 Huey Warthog Setup" - then same for how to fly....
