3080ti.  But to be honest, I am experiencing issues with other modules now. Perhaps it’s just the latest open beta.   I don’t know.

3080ti is more than enough to run the art side.

Load times have gotten stupid slow for some on the latest patch. Myself included.

Agreed.  I suspect the latest OB needs some tuning.

There is 2 threads to every core your processor has.

If your processor has HT/SMT and if you have it turned on (if you're using the single threaded version of DCS, or other single threaded apps, then you're better off without it).

Not in VR if you put textures on High: even my 16GB of VRAM is not enough for a few of the F-15E IA missions (and a 3080Ti only has 12GB). It's fine once in the air but on airbases I run out of VRAM when other aircraft are in view and their textures need to be loaded. With textures on Medium (ground textures on High) it is fine, and to be fair in VR you can't see the difference between Medium and High anyway (unless you start zooming in).

I hope that Vulkan will be able to render VR more efficiently so we won't need 24GB or more of VRAM for DCS...

Have you tried @Taz1004's reduced texture mods?

For now there's no need. Textures on Medium works just fine 😉
