I still prefer OFP2,because it looks more user-friendly,or COD6(much better user-friendly,though you can't operate any choppers/planes).

i'll be getting it! WOW i cant wait..... one thing i dont like though is the sounds :( i mean come on LOL missiles launching does not sound like the defender 2 arcade game from like 20 billion years ago!!!!!!!

imo the sounds in aa and the second version listening via the vids are fantastic. nothing else comes close as far as i have herd.

so far. EAX effects at great use.

no school here self taught ,

ears do the work not a teacher, and most pc programs at home do every bit as good as a studio room these days , and a good sound card.

adding to much echo or delay in explosions and gun fires etc , can saturate the sound system. maybe thats why they left some of the sounds without altering them from previous game.

I have gone blind by over exposure to pure awesomeness, and AMRA II is so attractive...

I wander how much it will cost?

:D Sorry I could not resist, Yep I am that cheese.

I hope ARMA II is as fun as ARMA. Man I spend a lot of hours on that game when it first came out.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Wow cows hey we could get a Movian wars mod...crank up the Barbie.:megalol:

Now if only they could expand the terrain to at least 700 000 Sq miles and have a sim compatibility code with next gen combat sims it would rock.

ARMA + Queens Gambit (and for that OFP) were truly amazing simulations.

Not deep into each weapon/vehicle, but as a solid infantry-simulation.

Flying a helicopter or driving a tank into an urban area made you definitely aware, how vulnerable those high-tech-machines are without any ground-support.....

Sneaking up on those "all-mighty" killers and blowing them to pieces was a real pleasure

The only other "sim" (coming to my mind) with such an all-aspect factor would be ww2online.

Really, it is a huge difference whether you fly/fight vs. stupid AI or against real human beings .... even more important when it comes to supporting ground-troops! The thrill of getting requests and directions from some human soldier on the ground (often firing blindly into given buildings/hideouts) is amazing.

I loved OFP and ARMA, and I look forward to the next release..... :D

Just hoping for good multiplayer-support and epic battles (not only Team vs. Team, but the huge COOP-missions ... I loved those) :joystick:

EDIT: And I just hope that the AI looses it's "I turn 180 degrees and then snipe/headshot the hidden player (300m away) with my first shot" - capabilities :-( .... it was a show-killer for me ...

Additionally: let's pray, that soon all those different simulations (ArmyOps, ARMA, SteelBeasts, LOMAC, BS) might come together in one simulated world ...

I understand that operating helicopter is arcade, but they could at least make the attitude changes more smooth, and with more inertia there - because now, for outside viewer, it's way of moving-flying is NOT BELIEVABLE!
