JOEM423 Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 I see in the mission editor where you can equip NVG's but I dont see any mapping to control the gain levels! Is gain controlled by some control panel dial??? What am I missing? Thanks in advance Joe 3

Thanks in advance Joe BUMP Just set up a night miz and when I went to set up my NVGs, found out that there are no gain controls for them ????? 1 AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, ROG ASTRAL RTX5080, G.SKILL TRI Z5 64gb, 4tb M.2 x 2, WIN 11 PRO x64
Lymark Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 Given there's no mention of NVG in the manual, nor any other keybind besides Visor/NVG toggle, I bet it's one of those missing basic features of the early access product. 2 1
SpectreBit Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 The ANVIS-9 that are supposedly what we got in the jet do not have gain control IIRC. 1
rwbishUP Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 Oh, noted. Wasn't sure. Thanks to adding @Taz1004 NVG clarity mod, they don't need any gain adjustment right now. AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, ROG ASTRAL RTX5080, G.SKILL TRI Z5 64gb, 4tb M.2 x 2, WIN 11 PRO x64
Devil 505 Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 You really do not need NVG's for the SE but I used them once in this simple mission I created. All in VR. I to would like to see the gain controls added. Probably and easy slip that will be added soon.

ASAP Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 The NVGs pilots fly with don't have a gain control either. They gain up and down automatically based on ambient light levels. DCS should simulate that functionality instead. 1

But since it does not simulate it, it should be here, in F-15E obligatory like in the rest of modern modules for DCS 6 Webmaster of http://www.yoyosims.pl Win 10 64, i9-13900 KF, RTX 5090 32Gb OC, RAM 64Gb Corsair Vengeance LED OC@3600MHz,, 3xSSD+3xSSD M.2 NVMe, Predator XB271HU res.2560x1440 27'' G-sync, Sound Blaster Z + 5.1, TiR5, [MSFS, P3Dv5, DCS, RoF, Condor2, IL-2 CoD/BoX] VR fly only: Meta Quest Pro
