skypickle Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 I can take screenshots with it but the vodeo functions seem off. When i hit the hotkey to record, it flashes a notice that it started recording but immediately flashes a notice that it stopped. And no recording is saved. Also, the hotkey for saving the last 5 mintues does not work. I tried changing the hotkeys, reinstalling the drivers but no joy. Win 10 pro, latest dcs open beta. 4930K @ 4.5, 32g ram, TitanPascal
Rudel_chw Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 (edited) Yes, it works for me .. these are the hotkeys that I use, the only one i changed was Start/Stop recording, set it to Ctrl + NumPad - as the default conflicted with DCS. and these are my video quality settings: All my YT videos are recorded with this tool: https://www.youtube.com/@rudelchw/videos The only issue that I'm having lately, is that the yellow DCS cursor is being recorded in black color ... seems to be a DCS issue, rather than a GeForce Exp issue. skypickle Posted July 2, 2023 Author Posted July 2, 2023 Figured out my issue. Desktop capture was not enabled in Geforce experience privacy settings. Turned that on and now it works. 2 4930K @ 4.5, 32g ram, TitanPascal

Can't you push the keybinds to the app directly?I use the default keybinds, just make sure VoiceAttack sends it to Nvidia. I've heard some people had had issues that DCS loses focus, but it actually doesn't, and if it had I'd just make a mouse click in DCS.Works for both start/stop recording, screenshots, (even if I prefer the in game ones), the FPS counter and don't remember if I use any other Geforce stuff. Cheers! Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk

BitMaster Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 (edited) There is an old bug haunting GFE and likely many/any controllers which will prohibit the PC from going to sleep mode. I have this bug for years on 3 different architectures. if you suffer it and need your PC to go to sleep you either need to find the controller that causes it and disconnect it after use ( throttle on my end ) or deinstall GFE, which is what I did. One with an X56 HOTAS will also exhibit this behavior (not sleeping). You have to unplug the stick.
