DSC F18 SA Page - Declutter Friendlies

Anybody know how to have just enemy threats show up on SA page please.  Stepping through friendly targets is a right pain  in the arse. Many  Thanks!

You need fewer friends.  Then they wouldn't be a pain. 

Set the SA page as SOI and use the TDC? 

I'm not aware of a way to make 'friendly' aircraft invisible in SA.  It kind of negates your situational awareness if you don't know where the good(ish) guys are relative to the bad(ish) guys.

If you really want, you can go to sensors and unbox PPLI, see what this will do.  I'm unsure whether this will prevent PPLIs from displaying, or if it will prevent them from sharing tactical data. (which you don't want)

Been awhile for me but something like TDC to get near Tuc, recce mark to zoom and then step. Someone please correct me

According to chucks guide, there’s a friend filter.

That filter is specific to RWR contacts, not PPLI symbology.

Yeah you’re right, now I see. 

I’ve never even tried, it’s just as important to know where your friends are as your enemies.

Thanks everyone for your responses - really helpful. I tend not to SOI and TDC in the SA page - guess i need to sort my <profanity> out and start doing it

I don’t either, I always have it active on one of the DDIs for an overall picture, but I don’t use it that often except wpt designation and distant target altitudes. Once they get closer I tend to use the TWS radar mode for that instead.  Probably on a multiplayer server with no F10 map available I would need to but, meh.
