Would love to see a new Viggen Campaign.. atleast with the KOLA-Map release

With the crash of the Odinnadsat campaign because of an DCS Core update(01.2023) i feel there is a big gap for viggen singel player content at the moment. I wanna thank also  Leviathan667 for his effort on this Campaign

I love to fly the Viggen and thats kinda sad to see the 10th F18-Campaign released and not a singel one for the Viggen..

I know Heatblur is mainly a Module Maker but maybe u have more influence then me on the "campain creators"

That’s not entirely true, on 2018 @Bunyap edited a Red Flag campaign for the Viggen, set at Nevada. A couple of years later, Heatblur struck a deal with ED and that paid Campaign was made free and included within the Viggen Module.

 

Understandably, a paid Campaign needs to sell well in order to make it worthwhile for the Campaign developer, so making one for a popular aircraft and set on a popular Map, is more desirable than making one for a less popular Map and on a Map that hasn’t even been released yet.

When you edit a mission, you need a plausible reason for a foreign aircraft to be flying within the US.

Well, not for Red Flag honestly because Sweden has participated in that exercise. I think he chose that narrative because it was familiar to him - many of the anecdotes are about being a Warthhog Driver rather than a Viggen one.

That said, I am fairly certain that we will not be lacking for Viggen content when the Kola Map hits. I do not wish to make any promises since I seem to be in a slump where I can't make anything I would like but the Swedish Air Force is my home turf.
