If you read it you will notice it doesn't go into any detail as to what the "EW mode / Display type" selector does. I suppose it is used to display only aerial threats, or SAMs or else in order to de-clutter the display. But since there is no description, I can't know for sure. Certainly, in DCS, changing the mode to any position N, I, A, U or F produces no effect whatsoever on the RWR symbols being displayed. All of that said, the question that follows is: is the function implemented in the F/A-18C Lot 20 simulated in the current public version of DCS?
