DST Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Can somenone PLEASE tell if this is a bug, a feature, what the hell am I doing wrong here, I just don´t get it. Set up a training mission, dropped 1 GBU10 on stationary target, works fine, dropped 3 gbu12 bombs on moving targets, worked also fine, and then the with last moving target, the ASL appeared again completely off to the left of the HUD when I press designate, and I´m unable to hit the target. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn´t, it just makes me crazy. If someone has the time please look into this track file, any help would really be appreciated, this behaviour of gbu bombing with the F15E is so completely erratic, I don´t understand it. WizzRD Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 It´s a known thing and I´m sure it´ll get fixed eventually. Until then try re-designating the target (maybe more than once) until you get an ASL line that makes sense - works for me. 2
DST Posted August 28, 2023 Author Posted August 28, 2023 Is there a way to UNDESIGNATE with Tpod at all? Like "undoing" TDC press? Because just pressing TDC again does not help anything, if ASL starts to be off again. 1 I7 8700K 3.7 GHz 32GB RAM NVIDIA RTX 3080 Rift S
Rhinozherous Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 (edited) Have the same problem, it is indeed a bug. Appears randomly. Hope it gets a fix soon. Not exactly, this time I had the ASL problems with gbu12's and point track on moving vehicle targets. Sometimes works like charm, sometimes not a single gbu12 hits target because ASL so heavy off to the side (mostly left). Kind of hard to reproduce because I dont have a clue what triggers it. Rhinozherous Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Also had this with GBU12 in a symmetric loadout. i7-14700KF 5.6GHz Water Cooled /// ZOTAC RTX 4070 TI Super 16GB /// 32GB RAM DDR5 /// Win11 /// SSDs only DCS - XP12 - MSFS2020
