floxx22 Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Hey Guys, everytime I try to load into a multiplayer server with reasonable amounts of objects and players on, after a little while, maybe 15min, DCS uses so much RAM, that it crashes. In rare cases even the whole PC. I have upgraded to 32Gbs CL16 RAM running on 3200MHz because of this, but it still happens every single time. Is that still just not enough RAM? I have seen videos of people with less RAM running the sim on multiplayer just fine. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Flappie Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 (edited) @floxx22 Do you use the NS430 module? If so, retain the use of it's Terrain mode: it is currently affected by a memory leak. Edited September 22, 2023 by Flappie ---

floxx22 Posted September 22, 2023 Author Posted September 22, 2023 @Flappie No I don't use the NS430. Actually I customized my page file right after I posted this, and for now it seems to be relatively stable with a few stutters from time to time. Didn't know what the page files was beforehand, so maybe that solved it. Thank ya'll for the quick responses @Rudel_chw I don't see any .log file from directly after the crash and haven't actually been able to reproduce the crash after I edited the page file. So maybe that solved it. 2
