reported Incorrect MFD Background

Hello,

While doing a cold start in my Mission, before performing the alignment, the central MFD was displaying this weird picture in the background. (It looks like a weird F 14 if you ask me) At that time only A/A missiles were equipped.

The screenshot was taken in VR with Foveated Rendering ON in Last Multithread version. null

Hi, 

we have seen this before, I dont recall if it was a mod conflict, or something to do with switching aircraft in a session. 

Please if possible include a track replay and your dcs log so we can look for clues.

Sorry but I can't include a track, I didn't save it. As you pointed you I have switched from the F14 to F18 before having this issue.

Definitely a core issue when switching aircraft. I've seen Jester's face on the AMPCD quite a few times, even without touching a Tomcat. Recently I've seen the last MFD image I've recorded from the F-15E. No mods.

I've notice the same multiple times on Multiplayer server when switching from F-14 to F/A-18. Wrong background stay until you finish the alignment so you can have the map replace the wrong background. In the past I've noticed all the time with the F-14 backward view, but making a quick test trying to replicate, I have like a clean view without tomcat.

Not sure if it's related to the tomcat or not, but doing this it's happens at the first attempt. Tested now on latest OB 2.8.8.43704, but it's a quite old bug, not related to the latest OB build

what I saw is that it takes the last thing your mirrors saw, from your last life, and makes the your MPCD background.
