can't get authorization, my 89 DLCs are now disabled !!!!

I read somewhere that there was now an issue from Steam users of DCS, especially the ones mixing Steam and standalone modules.

I'm launching and buying DCS modules exclusively from Steam. Why can't I get any more authorizations from DCS and have my 89 DLCs disabled?

I checked in my DCS profile on DCS Web site and didn't find anything about "binding" as other thread mentioned.

Exact error message at start is: Failed to get authorization data. Error code is 502. No saved authorization found.

Having the same issue, getting a 502 "no saved authorization found" when I launch the game.

Checked my dcs.world profile and my steam account isn't bound to it, and I'm pretty sure I've not bound it to another account.

+1 on this, I am getting the same error today, same set of circumstances. Steam-only account, 502 error, no saved authorization found. All my modules are disabled.

While waiting for this situation to be fixed, I wanted to switch to IL2 GB.... and surprise: same issue. No more authorizations to launch the game either...

I wonder if it's a general Steam issue or a general issue with the DCS and IL2 servers...

+1, almost same error. I've unlinked the accounts and updated system time but same auth error with code 504 for me when I launch from steam

Thanks @silverdevil. I have already read it, but I have no account binding anywhere and I don't remember I ever did for DCS.

So it can't solve my issue.

Which version of DCS are you using - I've no issue running the Steam DCS World Open Beta ?

Tested using DCS Open Beta Multi-thread 2.8.8.43704

Same here I run through Steam and after unbinding my account on the DCS website I am having no issues running the Open Beta game with all DLC. As a note, I have no mods etc. Just all official content loaded.

this is an issue i believe you can submit a ticket to either DCS or Steam. AFAIK anyone can use standalone and link the modules if they are purchased under same DCS account. i believe that is how the modules are linked anyway.

Yes, same here.

It had nothing to do with "DCS/Steam bindings". It was "just" Steam server problems yesterday.

All is running fine again today.

I am using standalone version but my modules were bought from steam mostly. I got error message from standalone version so i needed to transfer modules from steam account again. If you have same problem transfer your modules again.

I had the same issue. Unbinding the Steam Account from my DCS User Profile fixed it.
