spidierox
Hi, I am interested in the F4E, but to my understanding : - current module is only land based ? (DSCG & later DMAS) - so no carrier landings ? - carrier based F4E comes later in a seperate package ? (does that also include a DSCG & DMAS version then ?) Is this correct ? kind regerads, Spidierox

WinterH
F-4E is land based indeed, and DSCG and DMAS are sub-variants of F-4E. For carrier aviation, there will later be a separate module but we don't exactly know what variant(s) it will be. 2 Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V DCS-Dismounts Script
zarusoba10
It is equipped with an arresting hook and a sturdy landing gear, so I think it would be possible to force a landing on the ship for fun. I remembered a scene in an old Japanese comic where the main character's Self-Defense Force Phantom lands on an American aircraft carrier without permission. G.J.S
F-4E is not carrier compatible. MLG is not suitable for the carrier environment at all. Although It “could” possibly land on one . . . . Once only. Edited November 5, 2023 by G.J.S 2 Alien desktop PC, Intel i7-8700 CPU@3.20GHz 6 Core, Nvidia GTX 1070, 16GB RAM.
