SRF_Robert Posted December 24, 2023 Author Share Posted December 24, 2023 Let me show Dottie Mae, the only airworthy 47D-28 in existence: Note the modded Ordinance switches. 3 for 3 hard-points, 2 for rockets. This is earlier than the D-30 keep in mind. Notice the bomb release button too. This is just absent on the D-30 Early? Here she is restored. D-28 had no bomb release except for the T-bar jettison handles, which implies only the D-28 forbode this feature, until a modification to standard was established. Don't believe that? D-30 has the wrong electrical panel for arming, on the other side of the stick. D-40 has the wrong arming panel on the left side of the dash. We have the version fitted to the 47N-5 Funny enough, Dottie Mae was fitted with a K-14 sight at the time of her crash in 45’.
