Hotel Tango Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 Hi! While aiming with any of the Leopard 2 variants, the turret seems to miss the intended target, overshooting it and oscilating until it reaches the aim point. This makes using any joystick to control the turret almost useless. It also impacts players who control the turret with mouse. Track attached. Leopard 2 turret.trk 3 1 HRP | Derby "Wardog, launch!"
beachkind Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 Turret overshooting does sound pretty annoying, especially with a joystick. Hopefully the devs can tweak the controls to smooth it out. In the meantime, maybe try smaller turret movements with the mouse instead of big sweeps.
Hotel Tango Posted April 30, 2024 Author Posted April 30, 2024 Hi! Is there any news on this? Can you guys try It out as well to replicated this issue? HRP | Derby "Wardog, launch!"
Flappie Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Hi @Hotel Tango. Thanks for the track. The issue is now reported. 1 ---
MarkMD Posted November 13, 2024 Posted November 13, 2024 What you’re experiencing is the drift of the turret from the sight. Modern tanks use a floating sight and the gun follows it, allowing the gunner to keep eyes on target while the loader is loading. When traversing excessively you end up seeing the main gun in the sight. You can try and downgrade your sighting system by pressing the Ctrl + F or Shift + F. This will give you a graticule sight and fix the sight to the gun. Happy hunting. Mike-Delta

The turret is overshooting by a lot the target, sometimes doing almost a full 90º turn from the point of the release of controls. As of today, 20th jan patch, this issue still persists. Shadow KT Posted March 11 Posted March 11 (edited) I believe this issue is also present on the T-72B3 It can even turn into a helicopter tank, like this: https://tenor.com/8kEK.gif Edited March 11 by Shadow KT 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days

Flappie Posted March 19 Posted March 19 (edited) EDIT: Thanks @Shadow KT, I'm now able to reproduce the issue. The bug is slightly different from the Leopard 2. I'll make a separate report. Edited March 19 by Flappie ---
