Antarctica Map

Can we have a map of Antarctica in DCS World?  So far, we do not have a map (yet) that encompasses the polar regions.

The polar region is a grand ice box for use as a virtual sandbox.  People can place airfields, buildings, fixed wing, and rotary wherever in Antarctica.  It would be great if the extreme cold effects on aircraft would be modeled in this environment.  For virtual animals, we have cows that can munch on ice and snow.  If an airfield or base is next to an ocean, then we might see polar bears, killer whales, or some other virtual marine life.  To add more variety, we can add the assorted World War II aircraft.

Also, antarctica, while maybe pretty, would be one hell of a random and useless location to chose.

@razo+rThe map allows planners and creators for missions and campaigns in polar regions. It something for people to consider.

Kola will be a partially Artic map.

@ExorcetIt is nor clear if the Kola Map will have wildlife like penguins or killer whales. On the other hand, those animals are more likely found in Antarctica.

Honestly I can’t tell if you make these ridiculous posts as a joke or if you just lack any common sense…

I don’t know why you feel the need to make constant requests for a map of every place on earth and provide a link to it as if everyone doesn’t know where Antarctica is.

I'd agree that going further north makes a lot more sense than that. And while I do like penguins... really, how much interaction is there with them in a flight sim? (Lets aim for herds of reindeer that run from low-flying helicopters instead)

They are already in DCS:
