Can’t mirror DED on ICP

Reflected

Recommended Posts

HI mate,

A couple of things to check.

LED on back is solid green?

Plugged into USB 3.0?

The SYM, CONT and BRT wheels aren't in the off position?

I gather the ICP is seen in Simappro and all functions are working?

Should be plug and play aside from binding the buttons in DCS. Only thing I can think of aside from what MustangSally mentioned above is did you ensure the export.lua is being generated? I know in the past with just the F16Ex stick I have disabled this, but the ICP needs SimAppPro to have the lua export enabled to allow the ICP to mirror the game output and naturally SimAppPro needs to be running in the background too while you play.

Thanks for the replies. The system indicator light on the back is solid green.

I'm using USB 3

The wheels aren't in the off position

SimAppPro is seeing the ICP, I can test all buttons, and it's running in the background.

lua exports: not sure how to enable/disable it, but there is a wwt folder in the saved games/scripts folder.

On the Device tab of Simappro, select the ICP. Then click the dark buttons and check that the characters are displaying.

Is this the only WW device you have? The export.lua file should have a winwing entry at the start

Check that the lines have been added to the Export.lua in the saved games scripts folder?

If so, worth running a check with all other exports commented out of that file.

You are also leaving simapp running right?

Saved games\dcs\Scripts folder

It then triggers different exports running, so should have 2 rows for Winwing in it.

If you have other exports running they are likely to be in that file also. And the order they are in sometimes causes issues….so worth trying to re-order the items if one isn’t working.

FYI I have wwt 2nd to last, SRS is last item.

Just realised I was not clear…there should be an Export.lua in the saved games scripts folder, not just the wwtexport

Dont touch the files in the main DCS install folders

Go one folder back to Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts

In there should be Export.lua

In that file there should be 2 rows to enable wwt exports and mine look like this:

    local wwtlfs=require('lfs')
    dofile(wwtlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/wwt/wwtExport.lua')

And I have mine 2nd from last (last being SRS export) as any other order for them tends to lag or not work at all.

If no Export.lua in that folder just create it with those 2 rows and it should start working.
