Hey, I was trying to trial the F-16 again (I had trialed it in the past) and It won't let me. It just keeps flashing this message:

I tired using the Google authenticator app in the past, but it still didn't work. Any tips?

the free trials require the 2FA to be set up on your DCS account, once you have it setup you can use the code to activate the trial

Does it mean I wont be able to try any module (and decide if I want to buy, by the way) ?

^ Albeit Google Authenticator is suggested by ED simply as the most popular option, guys in the other long thread on this very subject confirmed that pretty much any other 2FA application works allright, so choose whichever you prefer.

To install a 2fa application on my phone I need à google account (and I won't create one).

I see there is a manual method, but they don't explain where to enter it:

"If you cannot scan the code, enter it manually. You will have to specify the website address, your login, the verification key, and select the key type."

I installed winauth yesterday on my pc and I finally understood the operating procedure this morning.

It's certainly a security feature for our account and a tool for ED to prevent abuse, but it's not really intuitive.
