Cypher1o1
The Chinook, (at least certain versions) are able to land on water. Is this going to be possible in the DCS Ch-47?

beachkind
yeah watching that video is really cool! Seeing how the Chinook can just gently land on the water like that was pretty neat.

flmike911
Per the current -10, water landings are no longer allowed without damaging equipment through water intrusion /impact. Those paragraphs have been removed from the manual. D models could do it, but F's not so much.

All though, I believe the CH-47F is capable of water landings, but they are avoided because you'd need to have certain things removed. Aircraft is still configurable for these operations. For in-game, i would say it depends if we are going to have some form of ATIRCM.
QuiGon
1 Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
