Spartan702 Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 (edited) new to dcs, after a couple weeks of learning im ready to jump into multiplayer. should i download SRS or use in game radio? whats easier? i tried in game radio but i could not talk or receive. i watched grims tutorial, but couldnt get it to work on my xbox headset i have connected bluetooth, the push to talk was registering and i was tuned into the correct frequency. when i went to radio options>sound filter options>start test sound options. i got a loud buzz through my headset Edited February 20, 2024 by Spartan702

98abaile Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 Install SRS anyway. Most multiplayer servers use it still and there's nothing stopping you having both and using whichever is applicable. 2
rob10 Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 SRS is likely still the most common comm's on MP servers so definitely use it. DCS Voice and Discord would be the other most likely methods. What's used will vary depending on the server. DCS Voice still has enough issues (slowly getting ironed out) that I don't think it's very widely used yet. 2
