Tiger-II Posted April 9, 2024 Posted April 9, 2024 Despite the WIP nature of the map, it has some stunning views, and has great potential. Stratos Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 Cool pics, I do not own the map, as I will like to see If they add Tabuk air base before making my decision. Can someone please post pics of Wadi Rum area on SW Jordania? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wadi_Rum I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!

Minsky Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 Tabuk. This part is well outside the detailed region, has low-res textures, basically no mesh, and a bunch of generic city blocks and roads pulled from the GIS data. There's nothing to improve or expand: to properly feature Tabuk in game, the whole area needs to be created from scratch. 2 1 Dima | My DCS uploads
Stratos Posted April 11, 2024 Posted April 11, 2024 Thanks a lot for the pics Minsky, looks Wadi Rum is very nice. I know about Tabuk, but adding it will bring another actor to the area, a lot of value. 2 I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
AvgWhiteGuy Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 Would some be kind enough to post a screenshot from the Mission Editor so I can get an idea of exactly how big the area perimeter is and what major countries/cities it includes. The actual map, of course, spans further than that, especially eastward. Edited July 6, 2024 by Minsky 1 Dima | My DCS uploads
AvgWhiteGuy Posted July 7, 2024 Posted July 7, 2024 @Minsky Thank you very much, I don't know why they can't post the Lat/Lng coordinates of all these Terrains' corners so we can see the BIG picture on Google Earth or another resource. Seems to be a lot of nothing out there for the most part; a huge sandbox 2 Asus B85 Pro Gamer - 32GB - Intel® Core i5-4460 CPU - SanDisk SDSSDXPS480G -Windows 10 Pro 64-bit - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 TrackIR5 - TM Warthog HOTAS Stick & Throttle - TM Cougar MFCDs - TM TPR Rudder Pedals - Razer Orbweaver - SoundBlasterX G5 DAC

RollerShot Posted August 17, 2024 Posted August 17, 2024 @AvgWhiteGuy You can see all the map boundaries overlayed on a world map on the DCS Web Viewer site. Pretty slick. https://dcs-web-editor.github.io/dcs-web-viewer-deploy/# 1 2

Czar66 Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Any chance of more people sharing screenshots of this map after the latest update? I think it is a big deal because of the new normal maps, other improvements and it would help this product grow in support as it has changed since the initial impressions. 2
Archangel44 Posted July 8 Posted July 8 I didn’t take any shots, but I noticed an improvement on how it looks. 2 F-4E, F-5E-3, F-14, F-15E, F-16C, FA18-C, F-86, A-10C, Spitfire, AJS-37, KA50, MiG-19, L-39, P-51, Flaming Cliffs, All maps, WWII Assets, Combined Arms, Super Carrier.
Mig Fulcrum Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Can someone post a screen in the Mission Editor to see the new borders of the map? 2
Czar66 Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Saw these at the "In Developement" section in the DCS website. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/screenshots/572/ So I'll post here in order to not get lost in that list as that portion of the website is poorly maintained. Sinai section still have outdated screenshots at Downloads/Screenshots from the website. Of course, these are not user made and are cherry picked by the devs/marketing team. Missed 1 or 2 because they were not that interesting, but it is on the link above. 1
